What you can do.... Today.


1. Have a positive mental health plan to keep yourself healthy in times of trial and stress (see below).

2. Spread the Word - Share this blog - Talk to your neighbors - about what you stand for- about eating disorders - about mental health. Help break the silence and the shame and spread HOPE.

Mental Health is for everyone - and having a mental health plan can help you keep yourself healthy!

1. Know your supports - (list names and phone numbers)

2. What are indicators that your may be too stressed out or in distress?

3. What are some things you enjoy that you can do during stressful times to help you calm down?

4. What's important to your daily functioning? (i.e how many hours of sleep do you need, exercise, medications, balanced meals)

5. If you are in a mental health crisis where will you turn?





For me personally, my mental health plan has been life saving. I've never known when or where my symptoms would flare up, and knowing that I had something concrete on paper to turn to 100% of the time that can give me some guidance has proven to be helpful more times than I can count.
